Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking an Education & Learning Officer to lead and develop learning programmes within the Patient Learning Centre. • Experience delivering education to adults.
• Ability to develop and deliver accredited learning programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of core skills and other education programmes.
• Develop and plan accredited learning programmes to support curriculum expansion.
• Engage patients in education and therapeutic activities through a learner-centered approach.
• Supervise instructors and volunteers in the Patient Learning Centre.
• Support the Patient Learning Manager with education and learning advisory work.
• Collaborate across disciplines and hospital hubs to deliver a flexible service.
