Job summary

Magdalen Medical Practice in Norwich is seeking an enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/Care Coordinator to join our patient-centred team. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a professional, friendly service and supporting patients to access the most appropriate care.

You'll manage appointments, recalls and signposting, maintain accurate records in line with GDPR, and work closely with GPs, nurses and other staff to coordinate care for vulnerable patients and those with long-term

Qualifications

• First point of contact with patients, providing a professional and compassionate service.
• Strong communication and organisational skills to manage queries and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and respond to enquiries in person, by phone and online.
• Manage appointments, recalls, home visit requests and signposting to clinicians or services.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
• Support patients in navigating their health care journey and accessing services.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GDPR and practice policies.
• Work closely with GPs, nurses and other staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
