Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate Porter to join our patient‑facing team. You will transport patients, move equipment and supplies, and support clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure smooth, safe operations across the site.

The role requires good communication, reliability and the ability to move and lift heavy objects. Full training is provided, and a commitment to patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to move and lift heavy objects.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• No formal qualifications required – full training provided.
• Flexible to cover shift patterns including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients safely around the site.
• Moving equipment and supplies between wards.
• Collecting and delivering essential items and samples.
• Responding to emergencies calmly and efficiently.
