Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Porter Housekeeper for the Hotel Services Team at Lanchester Road Hospital, Durham. The role involves cleaning and catering duties across office, patient and communal areas, with a focus on patient care and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy to level 2.
• NVQ Level 2 in Portering or Housekeeping (within agreed timescale).
• Experience in portering and in use of cleaning materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning and catering services as part of Hotel Services to office, patient and communal areas.
• Interact compassionately with patients and carers and maintain high customer service standards.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and promote a positive image of Hotel Services.
