Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is looking for friendly, motivated Bank Porter/Housekeepers to join the Hotel Services Team at West Park Hospital. You will clean and cater for offices, patients and communal areas, ensuring a safe, supportive environment to aid patient recovery.

We value empathy, teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement, with shifts across 6-2, 14-22 and 22-7, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Level 2 to be completed within 12 months.
• Numeracy and Literacy to level 2 ITQ Level 2.
• NVQ level 2 in Portering or Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain cleaning and catering services for offices, patients and communal areas.
• Ensure a clean, safe and supportive environment to aid recovery.
• Work in a multi-professional team with empathy and patient-centered care.
• Shifts include 6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00 and 22:00–07:00, plus weekends/bank holidays.
• Be highly motivated, reliable and flexible, with possible extra hours on short notice.
• Follow health and safety and COSHH procedures.
