Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Relief Porter/Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services Team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). The role involves cleaning and catering across office, patient and communal areas to support recovery, with shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (to be completed within 12 months).
• Numeracy and Literacy to level 2 ITQ Level 2.
• NVQ level 2 in Portering or Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain cleaning and catering services across office, patient and communal areas within the Trust.
• Ensure a clean, safe and supportive environment for staff and patients in recovery.
• Work as part of a multi-professional team with flexibility for short-notice hours and night shifts.
• Based at Lanchester Road Hospital, with shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
