Job Title: Patient Access Officer

Location: The Princess Grace Hospital

Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Permanent

Introduction

We’re seeking a Patient Access Officer to join our Patient Access team at The Princess Grace Hospital. This role offers an opportunity to be a vital part of the UK’s largest private healthcare provider, contributing to delivering high-quality patient services.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
  2. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Maintain accurate and current information in hospital databases.
  4. Pre-register or register patients onto HCA databases.
  5. Ensure all patient documents are signed and scanned appropriately.
  6. Respond to queries via telephone, written correspondence, or face-to-face.
  7. Manage patient waiting areas to ensure smooth service delivery.
  8. Coordinate and facilitate patient bookings as applicable.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous administrative experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
