The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Patient Access Coordinator to join the Emergency Department Admin team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, registering attendees by foot or ambulance and guiding them with an appropriate plan.
You will monitor breach data for 4- and 12-hour targets and support clinical colleagues with regular SITREP updates. In this role you will manage incoming calls, provide admin support to the ED and liaise with the Flow
We are looking for an experienced patient access coordinator to join our busy Emergency Department Admin team. This role will include being the first point of contact for patients which will including registration of patients that attend by foot and my ambulance. Ensuring all patients are being actively managed with an appropriate plan and providing regular updates to the clinical site team. With this you will need to monitor the decision to admit teams for patients along with any 4 or 12 hours which may occur., The Patient Access Coordinator works in the Emergency Department (ED) and has an essential role within the ED Team.
