Job summary

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is seeking a Mens Pathway Physical Preparation Coach to co-deliver high-potential players’ physical development programmes across the England Mens Pathway. You will work with ECB colleagues, England Mens Pathway coaches and counties to maximise player readiness and availability for future England cricketers.

You will design and lead development plans, profile players, monitor progress and provide on-ground support at camps, assessment days and competition

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience designing and delivering physical development programmes for high-potential athletes.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams in high-performance sport.
• Strong understanding of cricket's physical demands and developing male cricketers.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead an outstanding physical development programme for England Mens Pathway players with county and national staff.
• Complete physical profiling and ensure testing/reporting informs development and selection.
• Monitor players using relevant systems to maximise development and availability, in collaboration with ECB colleagues.
