Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pathology Programme Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover to lead delivery of the new NSECH pathology facility. You will coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage the programme plan, and ensure readiness and safe transition of services into the new laboratory.

You will work closely with clinical and operational teams, Estates, Digital and Procurement to ensure milestones, dependencies and budgets are met, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience leading major transformation programmes and complex changes.
• Proven ability to deliver projects to time, cost and quality.
• Knowledge of NHS procurement guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate workstreams for the new build, commissioning, operational readiness and transition of Pathology services.
• Maintain the programme plan, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Collaborate with Pathology, Estates, Digital, Procurement and other stakeholders to deliver the programme.
• Provide governance, reporting and assurance to senior boards and governance groups.
• Identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues with effective recovery actions.
• Deliver the NSECH Pathology New Build Programme Plan in line with Pathology strategy and Trust objectives.
