Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular boutique hotel in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, to recruit a Chef de Partie Pastry. You will join a talented pastry team, producing desserts and cakes to a high standard under the Head Chef. The role offers progression and training in a quality kitchen.

You will lead junior staff, maintain quality controls, and help manage supplier quality and ingredient use in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pastry-focused chef role in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to produce high-quality desserts and afternoon tea items.
• Capable of leading commis chefs and maintaining standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desserts, cakes and sweet treats to spec.
• Work with Head Chef/Sous Chef to maintain menu quality.
• Ensure ingredient quality and portion control with suppliers.
