Our client is a restaurant and wine bar in London, bringing together fresh talent with a new taste from the Andean South through an inspiring new culinary experience. They present an opportunity to work with Gustavo Saez, voted best pastry chef of Latin America with over 600k followers on Instagram.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Proven experience in a similar role at Sous Chef level or strong experience as a Senior Pastry Chef
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Oversee the pastry section, ensuring the creation of exceptional desserts and baked goods
  • Develop and innovate seasonal menus that reflect our culinary identity
  • Lead and mentor a team of pastry chefs, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organised workspace

What will your role look like?

  • Lead the pastry section with confidence, managing daily operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Develop and execute seasonal dessert menus in line with the restaurant’s vision
  • Work collaboratively to craft seasonal menus and complementary tasting experiences
  • Supervise junior pastry chefs and ensure training standards
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
