Job summary

Gateway Hospitality Recruitment is seeking a Pastry Chef for a prestigious Cambridge college, offering 37.5 hours weekly with a fortnightly rota and alternate weekends off. You will work on the Pastry Section, delivering high-quality menus for restaurant and functions, and support the Head and Sous Chefs in busy services.

Candidates should have prior pastry experience in quality hotels, colleges or restaurants, with fresh produce cooking at scale; NVQ level or equivalent is expected.

• Experience cooking with fresh produce to large volumes.
• NVQ level qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Pastry Section producing meals for restaurant and functions.

Our prestigious college client is recruiting a Pastry Chef to join their team in Cambridge. They are looking for a Pastry Chef who has experience of working in a busy hotel kitchen, college or restaurant with a good knowledge of quality fine dining. The role is working 37.5 hours per week on a fortnightly shift pattern so you will get a good work life balance. You will also get alternate weekends off!

Experience
