Pastoral Support - Sunderland

The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Sunderland in search of a Pastoral Support to join their welfare team. The role is to begin September 2025 and is ongoing.

To be successful, you must be confident and have experience working with children and young people within an education setting, preferably with secondary school students (11-18). We welcome applications from both qualified teachers (QTS) and non-QTS candidates.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking individual who has:

• a proven track record of working effectively with secondary school children/young people in a pastoral or behaviour support role.
• knowledge of issues affecting behaviour, attendance, and welfare, combined with excellent interpersonal skills to challenge constructively and motivate students.
