Pastoral Support - Sunderland

The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school in Sunderland in search of Pastoral Support to join their welfare team. The role is to begin September 2025 and is on an ongoing basis.

In order to be successful in your application, you must be confident and have some experience working with children and young people within an education setting, preferably with the secondary school age group (11-18).We are keen to speak to both those with Qualified Teacher Status and non-QTS.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working, driven individual who has:
  • a proven track record of working effectively with secondary school age children/young people in a pastoral or behaviour support role.
  • knowledge of the key issues affecting behaviour, attendance and welfare will be combined with excellent interpersonal skills to not only to challenge constructively but to motivate and inspire students.
