Job summary

Woolmer Hill School is seeking a dedicated pastoral support assistant to work under the direction of a Pastoral Manager with Key Stages 3 and 4 students, in one of our bases in the county. The role focuses on assisting with educational and pastoral needs to improve wellbeing and raise achievement, including transitions back to mainstream school or onto post-16 options.

Job description

The post will involve working under the direction of a Pastoral Manager, with young people, mostly in Key Stages 3 and 4, in one of our bases in the county. Primarily, the role will involve assisting with the educational and pastoral needs of the young people to improve their sense of well-being, raise standards of achievement and, assist in supporting transition to back to mainstream school or on to an appropriate post 16.
