Job summary

King Edward VI Academy in Spilsby is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Lead to strengthen student wellbeing and academic outcomes. You will lead the pastoral provision for a House, support the Academy Safeguarding Team and deliver targeted interventions to improve wellbeing and behaviour.

Working within the Safeguarding Team, you will liaise with parents, teachers and external agencies to share information and implement action plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral support and safeguarding.
• Ability to coordinate interventions and liaise with families and professionals.
• Strong commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pastoral provision for one of the Academy Houses and support the Safeguarding Team.
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group interventions to support wellbeing, attendance or behaviour.
• Promote inclusion, build positive relationships and ensure consistent expectations across lessons.
• Liaise with teachers, parents and external agencies to share information and agree steps.
• Develop and monitor Personal/ Pastoral Support Plans with clear targets and review dates.
