The Manchester College is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to provide emotional, behavioural, and safeguarding support to our learners. You'll work closely with teaching staff to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join our Foundation Learning Department as a Pastoral Support Officer (Care Experienced) on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) term time only basis.

You will be required to travel; this role will be across 2 sites.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent
• Qualified to at least level 3 in Education, Social Care, Mentoring, Youth Work, Counselling or Advice & Guidance
