Job summary

Academics are seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant in the Telford area to promote pupils' development and remove learning barriers. Immediate start on a 1 term contract, with potential extension depending on school needs.

DBS on Update Service or arrangement offered by Academics is required, plus calm communication and safeguarding awareness. Experience in classrooms or youth-work is helpful; the role emphasizes building relationships to support attendance, engagement and behaviour, ensuring

Pay: £100 - £120

Hours: Immediate start, 1 term contract

Academics are looking for a Pastoral support assistant to support in a school in the Telford area. We are looking for someone who is able to; Promote pupils' personal development, confidence, resilience, and independence. Provide pastoral support to remove barriers to learning. Support improvements in attendance, engagement, and behaviour. Develop positive relationships that enable pupils to feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. The role is to start immediately, on a 1 term contract, however this could be extended depending on the schools needs.
