Job summary

Brockington College, part of Embrace Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a Safeguarding and Pastoral Officer to support welfare, safeguarding and personal development of students. Working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will deliver pastoral interventions and help ensure every student feels safe and able to achieve their potential.

The role requires empathy, resilience and professionalism, with strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications

• Experience safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.
• Experience working with vulnerable students and supporting positive outcomes.
• Excellent communication, record-keeping and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain accurate, confidential safeguarding and wellbeing records.
• Provide pastoral, behavioural or emotional support to students as needed.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and liaise with families and external agencies.
