Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSE English at Grade C or above.
• Experience of working in a secondary school.
• Experience of Pastoral Leadership.
• Experience of using data to assess and monitor student performance.
• Ability to use strategies to change pupil behaviour.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain positive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic trabajor.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an ethos of safety, resilience, and cohesion through assemblies and leading competitions, rewards, SMSC and PSHE.
• Provide support and advice to students to promote social care, personal development, learning, and health and safety.
• Respond to and resolve relationship issues between students.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour, standards and detentions.
• Follow up attendance matters and engage with parents as needed.
• Liaise with external agencies on behalf of the team.
• Contribute to pastoral support plans and safeguarding compliance.
