Tile Cross Academy in Birmingham is seeking a Pastoral Manager to lead safeguarding and pastoral care, helping pupils reach their full potential. You will implement safety, resilience, and cohesion through assemblies, monitor attendance and behaviour, and liaise with external agencies as needed.

The role requires experience in a secondary school, pastoral leadership, and strong communication skills. A collaborative culture and structured CPD opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• GCSE English at Grade C or above.
• Experience in a secondary school.
• Pastoral Leadership experience.
• Experience using data to assess and monitor student performance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay positive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain an ethos of safety, resilience, and cohesion through assemblies and leading where necessary on activities.
• Provide support and advice to students for social care and development with respect to learning and health and safety.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour, standards and detentions.
• Liaise with external agencies on behalf of the team.
