Job summary

The successful candidate will oversee pastoral support for a designated year group, coordinate interventions and contribute to individual support plans, ensuring consistent application of policies and positive relationships

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral, behaviour management or student welfare roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and staff.
• Good understanding of safeguarding, attendance procedures and behaviour strategies.
• Organised, resilient and capable of handling sensitive situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pastoral support for a designated year group or cohort.
• Monitor behaviour and attendance; investigate incidents and coordinate interventions.
• Coordinate meetings with parents, carers and staff; liaise with safeguarding staff and senior leaders.
• Contribute to individual support plans and monitor progress of interventions.
