Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a secondary school behaviour/pastoral/mentoring role.
• Ability to support students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral and behavioural support to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Work with behaviour and pastoral teams to manage challenging behaviour.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group mentoring sessions.
• Support emotional regulation, social development and engagement in learning.
• Respond to incidents and help de-escalate situations.
• Assist with attendance, punctuality and reintegration into lessons.
• Liaise with teachers, Heads of Year, parents and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions and progress.
