Protocol Education Ltd in Middlesbrough is seeking an experienced Pastoral Manager to support students in a secondary school from September 2026. The role focuses on promoting positive behaviour, attendance and wellbeing across the school.
This is a full-time supply post with potential to become permanent for the right candidate; you will work closely with staff, families and external agencies to deliver high-quality pastoral support and be a calm, supportive presence for students.

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and committed Pastoral Manager to join a welcoming secondary school in Middlesbrough from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate pastoral professional who is dedicated to supporting young people to thrive both academically and personally. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, attendance, engagement and wellbeing across the school.
As Pastoral Manager, you will work closely with students, families, teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to provide effective support and intervention. You will build positive relationships with students, identify barriers to learning and help young people overcome challenges that may impact their education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
