Job summary

Great Sankey High School is seeking a Pastoral Leader to oversee the behaviour, attendance and safeguarding for one year group. The role sits within the pastoral team and works under a Progress Leader and SLT link for one year group, providing care and practical support to pupils and promoting positive behaviour across the school.

Job description

The Pastoral Leader post sits within the pastoral team at Great Sankey High School and works under a Progress Leader and an SLT link for one year group. The post-holder carries overall responsibility for that year group's behaviour, attendance and safeguarding, giving pupils care and practical support. It is a term-time role of 37 hours a week plus one week. Visa sponsorship is not available, and a full enhanced DBS check is required.
