Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Hillingdon Manor School is seeking a compassionate Pastoral Key Worker to support autistic students aged 11–19. You will promote wellbeing, help remove barriers to learning and act as a trusted link between home and school.

In this role you’ll build strong relationships with students and families, deliver targeted interventions and collaborate with school staff and external professionals to ensure attendance, safety and personal development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students or vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to wellbeing.
• Resilient, empathetic and calm under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate with families and external agencies.
• Organisational skills and accurate record keeping.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with students and families.
• Support attendance and positive outcomes through targeted interventions.
• Provide emotional and practical support for social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure support.
• Monitor attendance, behaviour and wellbeing and implement strategies.
• Conduct home visits where appropriate and maintain communication with families.
