Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a Pastoral & Group Intervention Lead to support learners with a focus on bridging academic progression and emotional wellbeing in the Cheshire region. This temporary, term-time role involves delivering targeted group sessions and acting as a key point of contact for students.

You will manage safeguarding procedures, maintain confidential records, and provide ongoing pastoral guidance within a supportive FE services team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in education, youth work, or related discipline.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4/5 (or equivalent) are required.
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Lead group sessions focused on personal development, emotional regulation, academic support, and life skills.
• Provide ongoing pastoral guidance to students, helping them manage attendance and welfare.
