A recruitment agency is seeking a Specialist Pastoral Coach to support learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs in a Coventry school. The successful candidate will deliver interventions across key stages and act as an exemplary role model. Experience in education or related fields is preferred. A clear DBS certificate is mandatory, with support available for obtaining one. This role starts on a probationary basis with the potential for permanent employment.

Job description

Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a School in Coventry who require a specialist Pastoral Coach to join their team. The successful person will work within all key stage areas, to support learners, deliver 1-2-1, small group and class interventions where needed.

You will initially be required to work through Supply Star Recruitment on a probationary period, however on successful completion of this period you will be offered a permanent contract.

The school specifically support learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and ideally would like to appoint someone with the relevant knowledge of SEMH. School based experience is desired but not essential, as the school will consider applicants from similar sectors or applicants who have relevant personal experience.
