Job summary

Lordship Farm Primary School is seeking a warm, compassionate Pastoral Co-ordinator to join our Inclusion and Pastoral Team. You will support children who may need extra help to navigate school life, deliver wellbeing interventions and build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

• Experience of working with children or supporting emotional wellbeing is preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted wellbeing interventions and help children navigate school life.
• Support successful transitions and work with families as needed.
• Be the trusted adult who helps a child reset and get back to learning.
• Help develop support and risk-reduction plans at the school level.
• Contribute to ensuring each child receives the right support at the right time.

30 hours per week | Term-time only (39 weeks)

£26,427-£26,827 FTE | £16,026.71-£16,269 actual salary

We are looking for a warm, compassionate and enthusiastic Pastoral Co-ordinator to join our fantastic Inclusion and Pastoral Team.

This is a role for someone who believes that children learn best when they feel safe, understood and connected.

Working alongside our Inclusion Leader and wider school team, you will support children who may need a little more help to navigate school life. This could mean delivering targeted wellbeing interventions, helping a child manage big emotions, supporting successful transitions, working alongside families or simply being the trusted adult who helps a child reset and get back to learning.

At Lordship Farm, our therapeutic approach sits at the heart of the way we support children. You will help us bring this to life across the school, working with colleagues to develop support and risk-reduction plans and helping us ensure that individual children receive the right support at the right time.

We are looking for someone who is kind, calm, organised and resilient, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Experience of working with children or supporting emotional wellbeing is preferred, but equally important is your ability to see beyond behaviour and remain curious about what a child might be communicating and a willingness to undertake relevant training.
