Job summary

Eton College is seeking a Dame’s Assistant for a 31.5-hour per week, term-time role in Windsor. The post supports pastoral care, oversees daily medical duties, and manages housekeeping tasks in the boarding house.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable pastoral care experience with children or young adults.
• First Aid or medical training is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of pastoral care to pupils and support the Dame.
• Assist with medical care, including daily surgeries and administration of medicines.
• Supervise house laundry, cleaning, and Messing Teas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Liaise with the Buildings Department to ensure safe, compliant house fabric and record keeping.
