Job summary

Barr Beacon School, part of Matrix Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Head of House PA to provide pastoral and administrative support in a busy school environment. You will be the first point of contact for pupils and parents, handling attendance, records and meetings with professionalism.

The role requires experience in school administration, GCSEs in English and Maths, and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
• GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise workload and multi-task.
• An effective team worker within a busy pastoral team.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Completing absence calls, and attendance requirements;
• Maintaining pupil records including behaviour logs, medical cards and incident reports;
• Attending and minuting parent meetings;
• Undertaking administration duties to a high standard.
