Job summary

LGPS Central is seeking an Investment Analyst to support the Passive Investment Team in Wolverhampton. You will assist in implementing passive equity and gilt portfolios, monitor performance and risk, and help integrate responsible investment practices while reporting to the Investment Director.

The role emphasises analytical rigor, collaboration with portfolio managers and cross-functional teams, with a view to maintaining compliance and performance across client mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics or related discipline.
• IMC qualification gained and CFA in progress or equivalent investment experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Investment Director and Portfolio Managers in implementing passive strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics and tracking error.
• Support integration of Responsible Investment and stewardship policies.
• Prepare analysis, reporting and documentation for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and other teams on investment processes.
