Job summary

HOWELLS SOLUTIONS LIMITED is seeking a pricing-led professional to manage commercial pricing for passive fire protection tenders. You will oversee information gathering, supplier quotations, and bid documentation to support accurate, competitive tenders.

The role requires experience in NEC/JCT pricing and framework bids, with strong procurement understanding and familiarity with estimating software. A focus on delivering compliant, high-quality bids is essential.

Qualifications

Proven track record of producing commercial pricing for bids/tenders.
Knowledge of passive fire projects as main contractor or in bids.
Strong experience pricing NEC/JCT contracts.
Understanding of procurement processes, including framework bids.
Experience with system estimating software; able to prepare tender clarifications and notes.

Responsibilities

Provide information for inclusion in written bid submissions.
Liaise with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for specialist elements.
Visit prospective projects to verify information in client contracts and gather needed data for tenders.
Coordinate with the Programme Manager to prepare final tender programmes.
Attend pre-contract handover, bid, and client meetings during the tender process.
