Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Passive Fire Estimator for a permanent role in Manchester, offering hybrid working and clear career progression. The role covers QS duties across public sector projects and involves assessing tender documents, specifications and drawings for passive fire protection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience doing QS works.
• Proven experience working in the public sector.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of fire doors and fire stopping.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tender documents, specifications, drawings, and fire safety requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing for passive fire protection works (fire stopping, compartmentation, doors, cavity barriers, steel protection, sealing).
• Obtain and review quotations from suppliers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and internal departments to understand specifications.
