About the Role

Who are TPS?

TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products needed to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres with a workforce of 1,500 employees. Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS is based on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has experienced rapid growth in both revenue and the number of Centres nationwide.

What will you be doing?

As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to meet the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre:

  • Achieve personal KPIs and revenue targets with target customers
  • Identify parts accurately to meet customer requirements
  • Utilize product promotions effectively to meet specific targets
  • Identify and leverage sales opportunities within the customer base
  • Maintain product knowledge and monitor competitor activity
  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits
  • Provide high-quality customer service by understanding requirements, responding promptly, processing orders, and offering expert advice
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding credit status
  • Support the TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting
  • Use all systems properly for searching and ordering parts
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly
  • Process cash and credit transactions according to TPS guidelines
What are we looking for?
  • A self-starter with a successful track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building relationships with key stakeholders
  • A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
  • IT literate, preferably with good knowledge of MS Excel
