Vehicle Parts Sales Executive required in Peterborough

Position Details:

  • Competitive Salary
  • 45-hour week, 8.30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Our client, a leading automotive trade parts retailer with locations across the UK, is currently looking to recruit a Parts Sales Executive for their centre in Peterborough.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering customer calls and responding to inquiries related to vehicle parts availability, compatibility, and pricing.
  • Providing technical support to help customers identify the correct parts for their vehicles.
  • Interpreting technical specifications and diagrams to assist in part selection.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, orders, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Coordinating with suppliers for parts availability and prompt delivery.
  • Processing orders, verifying part numbers and pricing, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting order issues and resolving customer problems.
  • Providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Staying updated with product knowledge and industry trends.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced B2B/telesales environment.
  • Experience with automotive parts preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with drive and determination to meet individual and team targets.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • IT literate, with good knowledge of MS Excel.
