Volvo Trucks is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will receive deliveries, manage stock, prepare quotations, and support sales by identifying parts for customers while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.

The role requires a valid driving licence, ability to identify parts via catalogs, strong numerical and communication skills, and IT-literate proficiency with DMS systems. Occasional parts delivery may be required.

Formación

• Driving licence is required.
• Ability to identify parts using catalogues and systems.
• Numerical ability to work with part numbers.
• Effective written and verbal communication with colleagues and customers.
• Selling/influencing others to buy additional parts.
• Documenting/recording information.
• IT literacy to use DMS and related software.

Responsabilidades

• Receive deliveries and store parts in stockroom per prearranged systems.
• Locate, label and maintain inventory; report shortages.
• Maintain housekeeping per health & safety guidelines.
• Produce parts quotations for internal/external customers.
• Document condition of parts returned for credit and report damaged items.
• Ensure parts and returns are correctly labeled and paperwork is complete.
• Discuss part features and uses with customers and promote parts sales.
• Assemble parts from job cards for workshop repairs.
• Provide feedback about competitors to Parts Supervisor.
• Collaborate with Parts Supervisor to achieve maximum competency.
• Occasionally pick up and deliver parts.
