Job summary

FMG Repair Services Limited is seeking a Parts Assistant in Cardiff to manage the parts department and support workshop operations. You will handle receiving parts, stock updates, pricing, and internal customer service, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a fantastic base salary of £13 per hour plus bonus and excellent company benefits, plus opportunities for growth within FMG RS and the wider ZIGUP group.

Qualifications

• Experience in accident repair centre or bodyshop repairs preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle parts and catalogues helpful.
• Ability to operate stock control systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the parts department.
• Receive parts into stock and book parts to workshop jobs.
• Maintain stock levels and assist internal customers.
• Update pricing structures and ensure stock control is secure.

Join one of the UK’s largest accident and collision repair groups, as a Parts Assistant at our site in CARDIFF

Salary: £13 per hour, plus bonus and excellent company benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

As part of a team of specialists your responsibility as a Parts Assistant will be for the day to day running of the parts department. Daily duties will include receiving parts into stock, booking of parts to workshop jobs, maintaining stock levels and dealing with internal customers. Utilising your sound knowledge of vehicle layout, vehicle parts catalogues and computer stock lists, you’ll also ensure our pricing structures are kept up-to-date, and that stock control is always secure and well maintained. Ideally you will have experience within an accident repair centre or bodyshop repairs.
