Job summary

FMG RS is seeking a Parts Manager for the Ilkeston site, with responsibilities spanning daily parts department operations, stock intake, and workshop part bookings. You will use vehicle layout knowledge and catalogues to manage stock effectively and support internal customers.

We offer a competitive base salary of £30,500 per annum plus a comprehensive bonus scheme and extensive company benefits, including holidays and employee perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accident repair centre or bodyshop repairs is preferred.
• Strong customer service and IT skills are essential.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle layout, vehicle parts catalogues and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the parts department.
• Receive parts into stock and book parts to workshop jobs.
• Maintain stock levels and deal with internal customers.
• Ensure pricing structures are up-to-date.
• Stock control processes are kept secure and well maintained.

Join the UK's leading accident repair specialists as a Parts Manager in our Ilkeston site.

As part of a team of specialists your responsibility as a Parts Manager will be for the day to day running of the parts department. Daily duties will include receiving parts into stock, booking of parts to workshop jobs, maintaining stock levels and dealing with internal customers. Utilising your sound knowledge of vehicle layout, vehicle parts catalogues and computer stock lists, you’ll also ensure our pricing structures are kept up-to-date, and that stock control is always secure and well maintained. Ideally you will have experience within an accident repair centre or bodyshop repairs, strong customer service and IT skills, together with a can do attitude!

Ilkeston branch has a great family/friendly atmosphere with long serving colleagues to support your journey! You will join a team of 20 colleagues with 7 bodyshop technicians and 13 support colleagues. Local amenities close to hand
