Job summary

FMG RS is seeking a Customer Service Advisor in Leicester to be the face of our Bodyshop, handling car bookings, progress reports, and payments. You’ll maintain filing systems, arrange courtesy cars, and ensure secure cash handling.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll join an ambitious team dedicated to excellence in customer service. We value experience in customer-facing roles, strong IT/Admin skills, and a full UK/EU driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role with strong IT/Admin skills.
• Full UK/EU Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Book customer cars in for repair/attention.
• Prepare job cards and files as necessary.
• Maintain an efficient filing system for paperwork.
• Provide vehicle progress reports when requested by customers.
• Arrange and allocate courtesy cars for customers.
• Collect payment from customers; handle banking and security arrangements.

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday 07:30-17:00, Saturday mornings on rota basis

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be the face of our Bodyshop, working on reception. You are responsible for booking customer cars in for repair/attention, prepare job cards and files as necessary, maintain an efficient and effective filing system for associated paperwork, you will also need to be able to provide vehicle progress reports when requested by the customer, arrange and allocate courtesy cars for customers, collect payment from the customer, pay particular attention to banking and security arrangements.

You will report into the General Manager who has been with the business for a number of years. They are as passionate about Customers as they are about their Team and is absolutely determined to make their Bodyshop the best in group. It’s an amazing team!

About You

As a Customer Service Advisor we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. With a professional appearance we would also appreciate it if you had previous experience in a customer facing role, with strong IT/Admin skills. You will need to have a full UK/EU Driving Licence.
