Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Parts Assistant to join their Birmingham team. The role involves processing parts orders, sourcing parts, and maintaining stock levels to support engineers and customers.

You will work in a busy service department, ensuring timely delivery of correct parts and accurate stock records. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts, stores, inventory or stock control, strong administrative skills and be proficient with computer systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process parts orders from engineers, customers and internal departments.
• Identify and source parts using internal systems and supplier catalogues.
• Manage stock levels and raise purchase orders when required.
• Receive deliveries and check goods against purchase orders.
• Pick, pack and dispatch parts accurately.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update internal systems.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability and delivery information.
• Support the Service team to meet customer requirements.
• Assist with stock counts and general stores administration.
• Ensure the parts department remains organised, safe and efficient.
