Job summary

Euro Commercials Limited in Exeter is seeking a Parts Advisor who is passionate about Mercedes-Benz and delivering great service. You will accurately identify and process customer parts requirements, receive orders, and ensure prompt picking and dispatch while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will work in a busy trade parts environment, handle inbound calls, upsell where appropriate, and keep customers and workshop updated on backorders and availability.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a busy trade parts sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive all parts orders, interpret customer requirements and advise on stock items and prices.
• Answer inbound calls in line with the company '3 ring' policy.
• Promote new customer business generation and liaise with managers/aftersales executives.
• Keep customers/workshop updated on backorders and part availability.
• Pick parts from stores and allocate to technicians in the workshop.
• Locate unavailable items from other suppliers and arrange delivery or pass orders to stock control for VO R orders.
• Maximise sales opportunities through upselling and campaigns.
• Be responsible for key account customers; develop sales opportunities to increase spend.
• Ensure orders are completed, invoiced and dispatched; keep customers informed of progress.
• Maintain the department image and standards of customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly or escalate to supervisor.
