Job summary

RH Commercials is offering a Renault Trucks Apprenticeship Programme in Leicester. This 15-month training path combines hands-on parts supply work with a Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Parts/Trade Supplier, delivered with GTG.

You’ll learn to assist customers in choosing the right parts, process orders, manage stock, and build solid product knowledge. You will work full-time, with rotating shifts, and gain real customer service experience while developing skills in invoicing, returns, and

Responsibilities

• Help customers order the right parts for their vehicle, face to face and over the phone.
• Give quotes for parts.
• Help solve any customer problems.
• Process sales transactions, including raising invoices and credits for goods supplied and handling returns.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as the service desk and the workshop.
• Compile parts from job cards for repairs being carried out in the workshop.
• Ensure they have current product knowledge.

40 hours per week

Rotating Shifts

Week 1 Monday to Friday 6.30am to 3pm,

Week 2 Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 9pm

1 in 2 Saturday mornings paid at overtime rate

This dedicated 15 Month programme is delivered with GTG and will help you build your knowledge and skills to become a great Parts Advisor. You'll learn how to give a great customer experience, ordering parts to customers, processing returns and payments and carrying out stock checks.

What does a Parts/ Trade Supplier do?
