Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity at Scania in Darlington for a proactive Parts Advisor who will be the main point of contact for parts queries and ensure timely supply to customers and branch colleagues.

The role operates on a 3-week shift rotation with varying start times, offering in-house training and a comprehensive benefits package including a pension, life insurance, and potential annual incentive payments.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with customers, delivering a first-class service, pro-actively keeping customers up to date and ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure parts are ordered in line with operational needs.
• Assist with delivery and collection of parts when required, ensuring parts are packaged and documented correctly.
• Assist in controlling optimum stock profile for the branch.
• Proactively undertake and oversee stock checks.

Job description

Working Hours: 3 Week Shift Rotation - Monday - Friday

Week 1: 07:00-15:30

Week 2: 08:00-16:30

Week 3: 10:00-18:30

1 in 3 Saturday 07:00-13:00 (OT)

Salary starting from £27,248 per annum plus an excellent benefits package.

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and customer focussed individual to join our Darlington branch. As Parts Advisor, you will be an integral part of the team, at the heart of branch operations, responsible for timely and efficient parts supply. You will be the main point of contact for all parts queries from customers and your branch colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with customers, delivering a first-class service, pro-actively keeping customers up to date and ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure parts are ordered in line with operational needs.
• Assist with delivery and collection of parts when required, ensuring parts are packaged and documented correctly.
