Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy team in Royston. This role requires automotive parts knowledge and a commitment to outstanding customer service.

You will assist customers, identify parts, process orders, and manage stock while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. A UK driving licence is essential due to site location.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor or in an automotive parts role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Identify and supply the correct parts using manufacturer catalogues and systems.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels, order parts, and check deliveries.
• Pick, pack, and issue parts for the workshop and external customers.
• Handle returns, warranty claims, and supplier queries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure the parts department is well organised.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building strong customer relationships.

• Competent IT skills and experience using parts management systems is desirable.

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the location of the site.
