Job summary

Our client, a prestigious main dealership in Cambridge, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy and professional Parts Department.

Working as part of a three-strong team of Parts Advisors, you will identify and supply parts for workshop and retail customers, handle enquiries by phone or in person, and help manage stock and supplier relationships with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months’ experience working within an automotive Parts Advisor role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and ordering processes.
• Experience within a dealership environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy, fast-paced department.
• Positive, proactive and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify and supply the correct parts for workshop, retail and trade customers.
• Manage parts enquiries efficiently via phone, email and in person.
• Work closely with the Service Department and Technicians to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently.
• Order, receive and check incoming parts deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock control processes.

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Ensure excellent levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
• Support the wider Parts Department with day-to-day operations.

45 Hours Per Week | Weekend Rota

Our client, a prestigious main dealership based in Cambridge, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy and professional Parts Department.

Working as part of an established team of three Parts Advisors, this is an excellent opportunity for an automotive Parts professional looking to join a premium dealership environment with excellent earning potential, career development and long-term progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within an automotive parts environment and be confident dealing with both internal workshop requirements and customer enquiries.
