Job summary

Marshall Volkswagen Reading is seeking a proactive Parts Advisor to join the aftersales team to support seamless workshop operations. You will welcome and record incoming parts, organise stock, and respond to workshop and customer inquiries with a quick, expert service.

The role requires experience as a Parts Advisor (ideally in a franchised dealership), strong organizational skills, and competence with inventory management on an iPad or similar software.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor, ideally within a franchised dealership.
• Able to follow established processes and work independently or as part of a team.
• Motivated, organized and prioritises Health & Safety in the workplace.
• Tech-savvy and confident using iPad or similar software for inventory management.
• Customer-centric, can-do attitude with a focus on positive customer experiences.

Keep our workshop moving with your parts expertise with one of UK's most respected automotive groups. At Marshall Volkswagen Reading, we're offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive and well‑organised Parts Advisor to join our aftersales team and support seamless workshop operations.

In this role:

• You'll receive, unload and accurately record all incoming parts and stock deliveries.
• You'll store and organise parts, maintaining clear, up‑to‑date inventory records in our internal systems.
• You'll respond to internal workshop and external customer enquiries in person, by phone and via email, delivering a quick and expert service.
• You'll pick and distribute parts for technicians, working closely with service advisors and the sales team to keep every job on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Someone with previous experience as a Parts Advisor, ideally within a franchised dealership.
• Someone comfortable following established processes and procedures, and working both independently and as part of a team.
• Someone motivated, organised and who prioritises Health & Safety in the workplace.
• Someone tech‑savvy and confident using iPad or similar software for inventory management.
