Group 1 Automotive in the United Kingdom is seeking a Parts Advisor to help customers with parts availability, log and allocate parts from suppliers, and deliver outstanding service.

You will make knowledgeable recommendations, maintain accurate records, and communicate promotions while following all parts department procedures.

• Provide guidance to customers on the availability of parts, ensuring timely and accurate information
• Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on suitable parts to meet customer requirements
• Maintain accurate customer records on our systems
• Effectively communicate relevant promotions, offers, and product information to customers
• Ensure full familiarity with all procedures and processes within the parts department
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the manufacturer and suppliers

• Strong ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of maintaining a methodical and logical approach, particularly during busy periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
• Proficient in IT, with experience of using web-based systems, email, and Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence
