Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is looking for a Parts Advisor at BMW Farnborough. You will assist customers face to face or on the phone, provide accurate part information, process orders, and build lasting relationships.

Experience in a fast-paced retail or call centre environment is valued, as is a valid UK driving licence. You’ll operate across the parts department, liaising with manufacturers and suppliers, delivering excellent service and contributing to vehicle retail success.

What you’ll do day to day

• Provide guidance to customers on the availability of parts, ensuring timely and accurate information
• Operate in a fast-paced call centre environment, handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls
• Engage in tele sales activities, proactively reaching out to trade customers to promote parts, offers, and services
• Demonstrate strong communication and sales skills to convert enquiries into orders and build lasting customer relationships
• Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on suitable parts to meet customer requirements
• Maintain accurate customer records on our systems
• Effectively communicate relevant promotions, offers, and product information to customers
• Ensure full familiarity with all procedures and processes within the parts department
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the manufacturer and suppliers
